On December 12th, Anna Lukina, Business Development Director at A&Z Law Firm, conducted a seminar at the Xiji Incubator Program.
The Xiji Incubator offers comprehensive support to entrepreneurs. It boasts a network of over 3,000 contacts in Spain and China, and more than 50 corporate partners. To further support early-stage founders, the program provides connections, coaching, and a state-of-the-art office at Tongji University Campus in Shanghai.
The seminar by A&Z Law Firm focused on the legal aspects of doing business in China, notably on establishing and operating a company in the Chinese market:
● Before: Preparation Stage
Understanding the main types of legal entities in China is crucial for any enterprise looking to enter the market. Each type has its unique requirements, benefits, and challenges.
● Operation: Daily Matters
During the operation stage, companies often face several typical issues. We discussed matters such as intellectual property management in China, contracts and best practices, as well as dispute resolution basics.
● Exit: Dissolution and Beyond
Exiting the market or dissolving a company is another critical phase. We discussed the legal procedures for a seamless exit.
A&Z Law Firm is delighted to support such initiatives as Xiji Incubator. We look forward to seeing the startups succeed in the Chinese and international market.
