The State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) has recently introduced two new search functionalities on the homepage of its Business Operator Concentration Anti-Monopoly Review System. These enhancements enable enterprises to access and review key information, including the List of Unconditionally Approved Business Operator Concentration Cases and the Public Notice Table of Simplified Cases, thereby providing valuable reference material for businesses when preparing concentration filings.
At present, the searchable database encompasses:
-
6,461 publicly listed cases unconditionally approved since the implementation of the Anti-Monopoly Law of the People’s Republic of China; and
-
1,828 public notices of simplified cases published since the system’s digitisation.
To utilise these features, enterprises may access the Business Operator Concentration Anti-Monopoly Review System homepage (URL: jyzjz.samr.gov.cn) and navigate to the "Public Notice Information on Business Operator Concentration" section. From there, users may select either the "List of Unconditionally Approved Cases by Year" or the "Public Notice Table of Simplified Cases" to retrieve the relevant information as required.
This development underscores SAMR’s commitment to enhancing transparency and accessibility in merger control procedures, facilitating greater compliance efficiency for businesses engaged in concentration activities.
